Local artist, JennyJen42, will be in the shop selling her gorgeous embroidered bird portraits, totes, pillows, and more... all perfect gifts for Mother's Day!
Check out the 228 Grant Street Candle Co. line of small-batch, all-natural soy wax candles. We love these candles for their natural scents, slow burn, and excellent (reusable!) jars.
The Food Mood Girl, Lindsey Smith, is coming to the shop to share stories and snacks from her new book, Eat Your Feelings. If you are feeling sad, stressed, tired, hangry, or bored, it’s comforting to eat dishes you love and crave. Lindsey will show how simple it is to make those same meals and snacks with mood-boosting ingredients that will physically nourish you rather than deplete you.
Create a beautifully lush + modern wall hanging for your home using gold-plated hoops and soft merino wool with Tarah, founder of Ore + Wool on Friday, April 13, from 6-8pm. All necessary materials will be supplied (3" hoop, 5" hoop, merino wool yarn and merino wool roving) while being guided through the process of creating your own wall hanging. Tickets available here. Then, on Saturday, April 14, from 11am - 3pm, join us for an Ore + Wool Pop-Up where you can shop Tarah's handmade fiber wall hangings.
We're excited to have local children's clothing company, Worthy Threads, in the shop for a pop-up featuring their new Spring/Summer 2018 line. Big and little snackers alike can also get a taste of our new favorite cookies by DC-based Whisked.
Local collaborative design studio, Butcher's Hill Workshop, will be in the shop selling their prints. We're very fond of their Born in Baltimore print... get one for yourself at their pop-up on March 24th, from 12pm - 4pm and March 25th, from 1pm - 3pm.
Newly opened vintage clothing shop, Shmatta, will be popping-up with us and we couldn't be more excited! Owner, Natasha, will be on-hand to help you choose and style the most amazing vintage pieces.
Looking for an easy way to pack flavor into your meals? Neek and Nan's will be in the shop sampling their versatile seasoning blends made from fresh veggies and herbs.

Come & dye some beautiful cotton yardage in the alluring & illustrious indigo. It can act as your newest statement scarf or a delicate wall hanging. We will provide everything you need including the fabric, tools to make marks on the fabric, and of course, the indigo. Just bring yourself & your creativity. Refreshments will be included. There are two time options for this workshop: a morning session from 11am - 1pm, and an afternoon session from 2pm - 4pm. Tickets available here.

Le MONADE is a local maker of artisanal drink mixers and concentrates perfect for family friendly drinks, crowd pleasing cocktails and unique salad dressings, marinades or dessert toppers.
Explore the contemplative process of weaving by learning how to warp a loom, make shapes, and form sumptuous fringe and knots. Discover various yarn and fiber types while developing your personal vocabulary of shape, color, and design. Learners receive yarn, a zine full of instructions and inspiration, tapestry needles, and a handmade wooden loom. Rub elbows with other creatives in Trohv's cozy workshop space downstairs! In this workshop you will learn how to prep your hoop and fabric, transfer a design from paper to cloth, and introduce you to some of Sarah's favorite stitches, while encouraging you experiment with mark-making and non-traditional embroidery techniques. Tickets available here.

Introducing a collaborative dinner series with Trohv & Charm City Cook.
We're excited to launch our series with Chef Carlos Rabas & Lane Harlan of Clavel who will create a four-course meal and drink pairings in a cozy and cheerful space (Downstairs at Trohv!) with very limited seating.

Our summer windows were inspired by our Indigo Dye Parties with Wax and Wane Fiber. Join us on Friday, August 25 for a happy-hour workshop where you will dye your own silk scarf using indigo in the same fashion as the panels in our windows. Everything you need will be provided.
