We're excited to have Hilton Carter popping-up at the shop on Saturday, August 19 from 10-3. His live-edge plant cradles (handmade in Baltimore from walnut trees) will be available for purchase, and he'll be on hand to discuss propagation tips and plants and styling.
Our summer windows were inspired by our Indigo Dye Parties with Wax and Wane Fiber. Learn all about tapestry-style weaving with local artist Clare Nicholls. Explore the meditative process of warping a loom, making shapes, and forming sumptuous fringe and knots. Discover various yarn and fiber types while developing your personal vocabulary of shape and color. In this workshop you will learn how to prep your hoop and fabric, transfer a design from paper to cloth, and introduce you to some of Sarah's favorite stitches, while encouraging you experiment with mark-making and non-traditional embroidery techniques. Tickets available here.

Whether you love her Deep Radiance Face Cream but want a lightweight moisturizer for summertime, or your skin needs special help, or if you're just really curious about what's actually in the wide variety of face oils on the market, this is the workshop for you. Celebrate PI(e) Day with The PieCycle, featuring "Surround Pie," a contemporary take on the traditional cobbler: Dark chocolate blueberry cobbler infused with Stillwater Artisanal's Imperial Oak-Smoked Stout, Surround, topped with a brown butter oatmeal crust.
